Maytree Nursery School in the 70's
Maytree Nursery School opened in 1978. The school became a Children’s Centre in November 2007. We are a local authority (Lambeth) maintained nursery school and offer nursery places for 2 to 4 year olds. Our core service is providing support for families with children from birth up to 5 years old. We said farewell to the old Maytree site in December 2018, and moved to our new site in January 2019.

As a Children’s Centre we are able to offer additional services to children and families to improve children’s life chances in a variety of ways: including, supporting families to be healthy, safe, discover and develop skills and interests, have a love of life, develop a supportive and positive community and be optimistic for the future. We particularly welcome families where children have additional needs. Our partnerships with local providers help us to do this. We run a range of activities from our various sites across the Clapham and Brixton Hill cluster.
