Family support

Our team of highly skilled Better Start workers are happy to talk to you, confidentially. We work with a number of organisations who are there to support families going through difficult or challenging times for many reasons. Some of these organisations are Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Alexandra Rose Charity, Home-Start (volunteers who support families at home), Lambeth Libraries and St Michael's Fellowship (who support young parents).

If you would like to speak to one of our Better Start team you can call Ruby to make an appointment, on the number below. Alternatively you can come along to any of our sessions.

Parenting
Lambeth Parenting Support Services helps families to access the right support for them, whether this is taking part in a parenting course completing a virtual programme online or accessing a one to one service.

All the support is 'evidenced-based', which means it has been proven to make a difference for families. To find out more, and to register with Lambeth's Parenting Support Service, visit lambeth.gov.uk/parenting

Family Information Service
The Families Information Service (FIS) provides free, reliable and impartial information and assistance to parents, carers, professionals and young people about local services, childcare and activities available to you and your family.

Please let us know if there are ways we can help you.
