Welcome to Maytree Nursery School and Children’s Centre. This website provides information for families in the local area who may want to come to our school and centre. We hope you will find events and activities that interest you. Do let us know if there is anything we could provide that would help you, or your child, or both! We hope others who are interested in the centre will find this website useful too.
As a Lambeth local authority nursery school we offer free education places for children who are 2, 3 and 4 years old. You can also pay for a nursery place or to extend your child’s hours and we are open from 8:00am to 5.45pm with breakfast, after school and holiday provision. We warmly welcome visits to the school, contact Clare Kramo our admin officer to arrange this and for any further information or paper copies you would find helpful. Covid 19 update.
We have carried out a very thorough risk assessment, and some new procedures are in place. These include staggered start and end times for all children, limiting the number of people on site and in smaller spaces, regular and thorough hand washing and deep cleaning of all spaces. The full risk assessment is available here. If you are looking for a nursery place for your child please contact us on the details below, or you can complete a simple for here. For further information please click here. Group based children’s centre activities are suspended until further notice. If you need any support you can complete a self referral form via the Lambeth website or call the Maytree number. Please take care and follow the advice given by the government to help control the spread of this virus. It is very important that you and your children continue to limit contact with others outside of your home, and keep a safe distance from others. ![]() Attached is a really helpful document for parents to read and use regarding Black Lives Matter. It gives some background about the movement, contains a guide about how to discuss these issues with your children and may be a very useful tool for families to explain how important racial equality is. We hope you find it useful.
