Special Books – sharing information about your child’s progress
Each child has a ‘special book’; this is used to record each child’s progress during their time in the school. It includes observations, photographs and samples of work. This is available for parents/carers to look at and we value their contributions to it. Parents/carers are welcome to add things from home, for example; comments child children have made; details of experiences you have shared; photographs or pictures. You will be invited to regular termly meetings with your Key Person to share information about your child’s learning and development. If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities, meetings may include other people who are supporting your child.
